서구문화재단에 따르면, ‘꿈의 오케스트라 인천 서구’는 문화체육관광부 산하 한국문화예술교육진흥원이 주관하는 꿈의 오케스트라 사업의 일환으로, 인천 서구 아동·청소년이 음악 교육을 통해 삶의 가치를 발견하고 건강한 문화시민으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하는 사회통합형 문화예술교육 프로그램이다.
2026년에는 오케스트라의 음악적 완성도를 높이기 위해 기존 8개 파트에 비올라 파트를 새롭게 신설한다.
