【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 진천군은 농업인이 주도적으로 참여해 개발한 흑삼 가공 신제품 ‘진천네 통째로 갈아담은 흑삼’과 ‘진천네 순수흑삼’ 2종을 출시했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 신제품은 진천군 농산물 가공 지원관과 농업인이 대표로 운영하는 흑삼 지역 가공 전문 업체인 맹여사푸드가 공동으로 참여, 원료 생산부터 가공, 제품화까지 협력해 개발한 결과물이다.
특히 현장에서 축적된 농업인의 원료 관리 노하우와 가공업체의 기술력이 결합한 점이 이번 제품의 가장 큰 특징이다.
‘진천네 통째로 갈아담은 흑삼’은 진천 지역에서 생산된 인삼을 흑삼으로 가공한 뒤 원물을 통째로 갈아 담아 흑삼 고유의 풍미를 그대로 살린 제품이다.
간편한 섭취는 물론 원물 중심의 소비를 선호하는 소비자 수요를 반영해 개발됐다.
‘진천네 순수흑삼’은 흑삼 본연의 깊고 깔끔한 맛을 부드럽고 순한 맛으로 완성한 제품으로, 흑삼을 보다 편안하게 섭취할 수 있도록 기획했다.

김수향 군 기술보급과장은 “이번 흑삼 제품은 농업인이 원료 생산자이자 가공 주체로 직접 참여한 의미 있는 공동 성과”라며 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 공동개발을 통해 농업인이 직접 참여하고 수익으로 이어질 수 있는 가공모델을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
