중구청에 따르면 이번 사업은 청년 창업가들의 초기 부담을 덜고, 도심 창업 생태계 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다. 선정된 창업자에게는 1인 전용 사무공간은 물론, 창업 실무 교육, 멘토링, 판로 개척 등 다양한 지원과 함께 최대 1,200만 원의 사업화 자금이 제공된다.
모집 대상은 공고 마감일 기준으로 대구에 거주하는 만 39세 이하 예비창업자와, 사업장이 중구에 있는 초기 창업기업이다. 사업 운영은 2030청년창업지원센터가 맡고, 실무는 계명대학교 산학협력단이 담당한다.
지원 분야는 관광, 패션, 뷰티, 디자인 등 중구 도심 산업과 연계된 업종에 초점이 맞춰졌다. 특히 AI, 3D, 데이터 기술을 접목한 ‘스타일테크’ 분야를 집중 육성한다. 중구청은 기술과 콘텐츠의 융합을 통해 도심 상권과 산업 구조에 새로운 활력을 불어넣겠다는 계획이다.
센터에 입주하는 창업자에게는 1인 사무공간이 제공된다. 이와 함께 사업계획 수립, 마케팅, 재무관리 등 실무 교육과 분야별 전문가 멘토링, 창업가 네트워킹 프로그램도 지원된다. 또 프리마켓, 지역 행사 등과 연계한 판로 개척 기회도 마련된다.
