브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 교원그룹은 창립 40주년 사회공헌 사업으로 시작한 ‘교원 감사 나눔 투어’를 올해 2회차로 이어가며, 지역아동센터 아동과 보호자를 대상으로 해외 문화 체험 프로그램을 진행했다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지난 1월 18일부터 21일까지 3박 4일 일정으로 중국 상해에서 진행됐다.
‘교원 감사 나눔 투어’는 여행을 통해 아이들에게 해외 문화 체험과 교육의 기회를 제공하고, 가족 간 유대감 형성을 돕기 위해 마련된 사회공헌 프로그램이다.
지난해 9월 1회차를 시작으로 올해 2회차를 맞았다. 이번 투어에는 초록우산을 통해 추천받은 지역아동센터아동과 보호자 등 총 92명이 참여했다. 1회차를 포함해 지금까지 총 188명이 해당 프로그램을 통해 해외 문화 체험의 기회를 누렸다.

상해를 대표하는 문화 공연인 ‘마시청 서커스 관람’과, 아시아 최대 규모의 상해 디즈니랜드 방문 일정도 마련해 아이와 보호자가 함께 즐기며 소중한 추억을 쌓을 수 있도록 했다.
교원그룹 관계자는 “창립 40주년 사회공헌 사업으로 시작한 ‘교원 감사 나눔 투어’가 참여자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻으며 올해 2회차로 이어지게 됐다”며 “40년간 사회로부터 받아온 신뢰에 보답하는 마음으로 미래 세대의 성장과 지역사회와의 동반 성장을 위한 사회공헌 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
