(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 4일, 해외 판로개척과 수출 업무 시 통·번역에 어려움을 겪는 중소기업을 위해 ‘중소기업 통·번역 수수료 지원사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
남동구에 따르면, 지원대상은 남동구에 위치한 중소기업으로, 해외 바이어 방문 및 상담 등에 필요한 통역과 회사소개서, 상품홍보물, 계약서 등 수출을 위한 제반 서류 번역 서비스를 기업당 최대 40만 원 한도까지 신청 건수 제한 없이 지원한다.
지원 언어는 영어, 중국어, 일본어뿐만 아니라 기타 언어도 가능하여 중소기업이 수출 시 겪는 통역 및 번역 애로를 해소하는 데에 큰 도움이 될 전망이다.
박종효 남동구청장은 “수출 경쟁력이 있는 우수한 제품을 생산하고도 외국어 가능 전문인력의 부재로 수출에 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소기업들이 많다”면서 “이번 사업이 이러한 문제점을 해소하고 관내 중소기업의 수출 역량 및 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에 이바지할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
