2026년도 공동주택관리 지원사업의 일환으로 진행되는 이번 사업은 준공한 지 10년이 넘은 공동주택을 대상으로 공용시설 보수와 정비에 필요한 비용 일부를 지원한다.
특히 북구는 대구 지역에서는 유일하게 20세대 미만의 연립·다세대주택까지 지원 대상에 포함했다. 이에 따라 그동안 안전 사각지대에 놓여 있던 소규모 주거단지도 이번 지원사업의 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.
지원 대상은 8세대 이상 공동주택이며, 어린이 놀이시설 보수, 단지 내 도로 및 보도 정비, 옥상 방수, CCTV 설치와 보수 등 총 20개 분야에 걸친 공용시설 개선 사업이 포함된다. 사업비의 최대 70%까지 지원되며, 세부 기준은 북구청 공고문에 따라 달라진다.
신청 접수가 마감된 후에는 현장조사와 공동주택지원심의위원회 심의를 거쳐 오는 4월 중 최종 지원 단지가 선정될 예정이다. 신청은 해당 공동주택이 위치한 행정복지센터에서 서면으로 가능하며, 신청서와 사업계획서, 주민동의서 등 필요한 서류를 제출해야 한다.
배광식 북구청장은 “대규모 아파트보다 관리가 어려운 소규모 공동주택까지 지원을 넓혀 실질적인 주거환경 개선 효과를 거둘 수 있도록 중점을 두고 있다”며 “입주민들이 더 안전하고 쾌적한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 사업을 꼼꼼하게 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Applications can be submitted in writing at the administrative welfare center where the apartment complex is located, and must include the application form, business plan, and resident consent form.
Buk-gu District Mayor Bae Gwang-sik stated, "We are focusing on expanding support to small-scale apartment complexes, which are more difficult to manage than large-scale apartments, to achieve tangible improvements in the living environment. We will meticulously implement the project to ensure residents can live in a safer and more comfortable environment."
