【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 귀농․귀촌인의 안정적인 농촌 정착을 지원하기 위해‘2026년 귀농 귀촌 기초교육(신규농업인 기초 영농 기술교육)’ 교육생을 모집한다고 5일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 본격적인 영농에 앞서 신규 농업인이 반드시 알아야 할 기초 영농 기술과 농업 정보를 제공해 농업·농촌에 대한 이해를 높이고, 귀농·귀촌인의 성공적인 정착을 돕고자 마련됐다.
교육은 오는 3월 5일부터 5월 7일까지 총 10회 과정으로 운영되며, 매주 목요일 오후 2시부터 6시까지 군 농업기술센터에서 진행된다.
교육 모집 인원은 30명으로, 귀농·귀촌인(예정자 포함)과 신규농업인 중 교육을 희망하는 사람이면 누구나 신청할 수 있다.
교육과정은 영농의 기본이 되는 토양 관리법, 토양 분석 처방, 토양 기초지식, 연작지 관리 등에 관한 기초교육을 하고, 이어 종자, 광합성, 화아분화, 결실 등 작물 재배 생리에 대한 이론 교육이 진행된다.
또한, 화학비료 사용 방법을 중심으로 한 영양 관리 교육과 농약의 작용기작, 종류, PLS 제도 등을 포함한 안전한 농약 사용 교육, 작물 병해와 해충 발생 시 대처 방법을 다루는 병·해충 관리 교육도 다뤄질 예정이다.
특히, 감자, 오이, 토마토, 수박, 블루베리 등 주요 작목을 중심으로 한 작물별 재배 기술과 전문 관리 교육을 진행해 귀농·귀촌인이 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 실질적인 영농 역량을 강화할 계획이다.
