이날 총회에서 2025년도 결산 보고와 함께 2026년도 사업계획을 확정했으며, 밀원자원 감소와 이상기후로 인한 꿀벌 활동 저하 등 양봉업계가 직면한 위기 상황에 대한 심도 있는 논의가 이뤄졌다.
특히 최근 기후변화에 따른 밀원수 감소와 병해충 확산 등으로 양봉 농가의 경영 여건이 악화하고 있는 만큼, 현장 중심의 대응 방안과 지속 가능한 산업 육성 방안에 대한 의견 교환이 활발히 진행됐다.
양봉협회 관계자는 “이상기후와 병해충 확산으로 양봉 농가가 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다”며 “농가 스스로 사양·질병 관리에 대한 데이터 기반 관리 체계를 구축하고, 관계 기관과 협력해 현장에 맞는 기술을 신속히 도입함으로써 위기를 함께 극복해 나가자”고 강조했다.
