10일 의정부시에 따르면, 고산동, 장암동, 신곡2동, 송산2동 등 각 동 주민센터에는 어려운 이웃을 위한 기부 행렬이 줄을 이었다.
먼저 고산동에서는 아이들의 고사리손이 모은 정성이 전달됐다. 아트포레어린이집은 지난 9일 원생들과 함께 모은 라면 755개를 고산동주민센터에 기탁했다. 김혜리 원장은 "아이들이 나눔의 기쁨을 배우는 소중한 기회가 됐다"고 전했다. 기탁된 라면은 독거노인 등에게 전달될 예정이다.

장암동에서는 따뜻한 한 끼 나눔이 계속됐다. 철원양평해장국은 지난 9일 지역 독거 어르신을 위한 해장국 후원을 약속했다. 2018년부터 '어르신 생신축하드려孝' 사업에 참여해온 김은주 대표는 "작은 한 끼지만 어르신들이 외롭지 않게 보내시길 바란다"며 꾸준한 봉사를 다짐했다.

신곡2동에서는 지역 금융기관의 통 큰 지원이 있었다. 의정부신곡새마을금고는 '사랑의 좀도리 운동'으로 마련한 백미(10kg) 50포를 쾌척했다. 이상욱 이사장은 "십시일반 모은 좀도리 쌀이 이웃들의 추운 겨울을 녹이는 데 보탬이 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

송산2동에서는 종교계의 나눔이 더해졌다. 낙양동 소재 하나님의교회는 9일 겨울철 난방 취약계층을 위해 겨울 이불 30채를 송산2동주민센터에 기탁했다. 교회 측은 "이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보내는 데 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다"고 전했다.
