【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 10일 증평기록관에서 산림녹화 기록전시 ‘애림가(愛林家)’와 연계한 발표회 ‘숲을 키운 사람들, 기록이 되다’를 개최했다.
이번 발표회는 2025년 유네스코 세계기록유산으로 등재된 대한민국 산림녹화기록물 중에서 민간이 생산한 산림녹화 기록의 의미와 가치를 조명하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사에는 유네스코 한국위원회와 국가기록원 관계자를 비롯해 증평과 전북 진안의 지역 기록 전문가들이 발표자로 참여했다.
발표회에서는 유네스코 세계기록유산으로서의 산림녹화 기록물의 의미를 시작으로, 증평 남부5리 임야관리위원회 기록, 진안 중평마을 산림계 기록 등 주민이 스스로 남기고 이어온 산림녹화 기록 사례가 소개됐다.
또 국가기록원이 구축한 산림녹화 기록 콘텐츠 사례를 통해 기록물의 교육·전시·연구 등 다양한 활용 가능성과 향후 확장 방향에 대한 논의도 이어졌다.
발표회 후에는 네트워킹 시간을 마련해 기록의 공공적 가치와 지역 기록의 미래를 함께 이야기하는 소통의 장도 함께 열렸다.
이재영 군수는 “산림녹화는 국가 정책과 주민의 헌신이 함께 만든 세계적 성과”라며 “이번 발표회를 통해 숲을 가꾼 사람들의 시간이 기록으로 남아 다음 세대와 세계로 이어지는 의미있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 군은 증평 남부5리 임야관리위원회로부터 산림녹화 기록물을 기증받아 소장해 왔으며, 이 중 일부가 지난해 세계기록유산에 등재됐다. 군은 이를 토대로 현재 증평기록관에서 산림녹화 기록전시 ‘애림가’를 운영하고 있다.
아울러 다양한 산림녹화 기록전시 연계 프로그램을 이어갈 예정으로, 이달 말에는 지역 초등학생을 대상으로 한 어린이 특강을 진행할 계획이다.

Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province, held a presentation titled "People Who Cultivated Forests, Become Records" at the Jeungpyeong Archives on the 10th, in conjunction with the "Aerimga" exhibition of forest reforestation records.

Meanwhile, the county has been collecting forestation records donated by the Jeungpyeong Nambu 5-ri Forest Management Committee. Some of these records were registered as Memory of the World last year. Based on these records, the county is currently operating "Aerimga," a forestation record exhibition, at the Jeungpyeong Archives.
Furthermore, the county plans to continue various programs related to the forestation record exhibition, including a special children's lecture for local elementary school students at the end of this month.
