대전 서구의회가 10일 의회 간담회장에서 전 직원을 대상으로 ‘AI 기반 스마트 의정 지원 전략 교육’을 진행하며 디지털 행정 전환에 한걸음 다가섰다.
이번 교육에는 서구의회 직원 30여 명이 참여해, 인공지능 기술을 의정 지원 업무에 접목하는 방안을 실습 중심으로 익혔다. 문서 작성 자동화, 통계 자료 검증, 데이터 분석 등 실제 의정 현장에서 빈번히 활용될 수 있는 주제를 다뤘다.
강의는 조성겸 대구경북과학기술원(DGIST) 초빙석좌교수가 맡았다. 그는 ‘AI로 배우는 의정 문서 작성과 데이터 분석’을 주제로, 의회 사무 환경에 맞는 AI 활용 사례와 실무 적용 전략을 공유했다.
참가자들은 AI 도구를 활용해 자료 검색, 요약, 예산·결산 데이터 정리 등을 직접 수행하며 생산성과 정확성을 높일 수 있는 방법을 체험했다.
조규식 의장은 “행정 환경이 빠르게 변하고 있는 만큼, 직원들이 새로운 기술을 능동적으로 익히는 것이 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 실무 중심의 교육을 확대해 신속하고 정확한 의정 지원 체계를 구축하겠다”고 말했다.

Participants experienced how AI tools can be used to search, summarize, and organize budget and settlement data, enhancing productivity and accuracy.
Chairman Cho Kyu-sik said, “As the administrative environment is rapidly changing, it is important for employees to proactively acquire new skills,” adding, “We will continue to expand practical training to establish a system for rapid and accurate legislative support.”
