이날 박기완 서장을 비롯한 고양소방서 관계자들은 고양시청 관계자 및 원당시장 상인회와 간담회를 가졌다.
간담회에서는 설 명절 대비 안전관리 현황을 공유하고, 상인회 중심의 화재 예방 활동과 비상시 초기 대응 체계 강화를 위한 협력 방안이 논의됐다.
간담회 이후에는 시장 내부를 직접 순회하며 상인과 시민들을 대상으로 화재 안전수칙과 119화재대피안심콜 안내가 담긴 홍보물을 배부했으며 특히 점포별로 스스로 안전 상태를 확인하는 자율 안전점검에 적극적으로 참여해 줄 것을 당부했다.
