【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달서구가 지역 세대가 함께 참여하는 인적 돌봄망 ‘달서가(家) 돌봄 단!단!단’을 출범시키며, 퇴원 어르신과 돌봄 취약계층을 위한 생활 안전망을 본격적으로 강화한다.
달서구는 11일 구청에서 ‘달서가(家) 돌봄 단!단!단 활동가’ 발대식을 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 돌봄 활동가와 관계자 등 150여 명이 참석해 의료, 요양, 돌봄, 주거 서비스를 하나로 연결하는 달서형 통합돌봄 체계 가동을 알렸다.
‘단!단!단 활동가’는 병원이나 행정 중심에서 벗어나, 지역사회 구성원이 직접 참여하는 3세대 인적 돌봄망 체계다. 세대별로 역할을 나눠 지역 돌봄을 보다 촘촘하게 실현할 방침이다.
1대 ‘건강 돌봄단’은 일자리 사업에 참여하는 어르신들로 꾸려진다. 이들은 복약 지도, 안부 확인, 산책 동행 등 일상 속 생활 밀착형 서비스를 통해 또 다른 어르신을 돌본다. 돌봄 활동이 일자리와 연결됐다는 점이 특징이다.
2대 ‘이웃 돌봄단’은 지역 주민과 복지기관이 참여해, 돌봄 사각지대를 발굴하고 필요한 서비스를 안내한다. 행정 역량이 닿지 못하는 틈새를 지역이 스스로 메우는 구조다.
3대 ‘멘토링 돌봄단’은 대학생과 아동이 함께한다. 정서 교류와 세대 간 소통을 통해 어르신의 사회적 고립을 완화하고, 돌봄의 의미를 ‘관계’로 확장하는 데 중점을 둔다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “돌봄은 더 이상 행정이나 의료기관만의 몫이 아니라 지역 모두의 역할”이라며 “돌봄 활동가들과 힘을 모아 어르신들이 가정에서 건강하고 존엄한 삶을 이어가도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Dalseo-gu Mayor Lee Tae-hoon stated, "Care is no longer the sole responsibility of the administration or medical institutions; it is the responsibility of the entire community. We will work with care workers to do our best to ensure that seniors can continue to live healthy and dignified lives at home."
