포천시는 주민 주도의 공동체 활성화를 위한 ‘2026년 지역공동체 주민제안 공모사업’을 추진하고, 오는 27일까지 참여할 공동체를 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이번 공모사업은 주민이 직접 지역에 필요한 사업을 기획하고 실행하는 방식으로 운영된다. 이웃 간의 긴밀한 소통과 협력을 바탕으로 지속 가능한 지역 공동체를 조성하는 것이 핵심 목표다.
신청 자격은 포천시에 거주하거나 생활권을 둔 5인 이상의 주민 모임이라면 누구나 가능하다. 새롭게 시작하는 신규 공동체도 참여할 수 있으나, 신청을 위해서는 구성원의 50% 이상이 공동체 필수 교육을 사전에 이수해야 한다.
시는 서류 심사와 전문가 심사, 지역공동체 육성위원회 심의를 거쳐 오는 4월 중 최종 대상자를 선정할 계획이다. 선정된 공동체에는 활동 단계에 따라 강사비, 홍보비, 소모품비 등 사업 운영에 필요한 비용을 최소 200만 원에서 최대 700만 원까지 차등 지원한다.
특히 포천시는 사업 신청에 어려움을 느끼는 주민들을 위해 공고 기간 동안 제안서 작성 방법과 추진 절차 등에 대한 사전 컨설팅도 함께 지원할 예정이다.
포천시 관계자는 “주민들의 작은 아이디어가 지역을 바꾸는 소중한 출발점이 될 것”이라며 “적극적인 참여를 통해 이웃과 함께 성장하고 행복한 포천을 만들어가는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
