이날 행사에는 장애인과 자원봉사자 등 총 80명이 참여해 함께 만두를 빚으며 소통하고 명절 공동체의 정을 되새겼다.
참여자들은 삼삼오오 모여 만두를 만들며 서로의 안부를 묻고, 설 명절의 따뜻한 분위기를 함께 나눴다.
앞서 지난 11일에는 평천회(회장 정성기), 광명전업사(대표 임기수), 괴산증평교육지원청(교육장 우관문)의 생필품 후원으로 재가장애인 70가정에 ‘행복바구니’를 전달했다.
복지관 직원들은 각 가정을 찾아 명절 인사를 전하며 안부를 살피는 등 정서적 돌봄도 함께 진행했다.
정찬연 관장은 “함께 만두를 빚고 행복바구니를 전달하는 과정은 서로의 마음을 모으고 화합하는 소중한 시간이었다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 나눔의 가치를 실천하며 따뜻한 명절 문화를 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
이날 만두 빚기에 함께한 이재영 군수는 “삼삼오오 모여 만두를 빚다 보니 어느새 명절 분위기가 가득해졌다”며 “군민 한분 한분이 행복한 설을 보내실 수 있도록 군에서 더욱 세심히 살피겠다”고 밝혔다.
