충남도가 최근 10일간 보령·당진·홍성에서 잇따른 아프리카돼지열병(ASF) 발생에 맞서 설 연휴를 ‘확산 차단의 골든타임’으로 삼고 24시간 비상 방역 체계를 가동한다.
도에 따르면, 지난 2~3일 보령 청소면 번식농가에서 시작해 11일 당진 순성면, 12일 홍성 은하면 농가까지 열흘 만에 총 3건이 확인됐다. 기존 야생 멧돼지 중심 발생에서 새끼돼지 산발 사례로 확대되며 위기감이 고조되고 있다.
특히 최근 발생 농장의 바이러스 분석 결과 국내 야생 멧돼지와 다른 해외 유입 유전형으로 확인돼, 불법 수입 축산물 반입 가능성이 제기됐다. 도는 “연휴 물류 정지 시기를 활용해 추가 확산을 원천 차단하겠다”고 밝혔다.
주요 방역 대책은 농장 내 외부인·차량 출입 통제 ,전용 방역복·장화 착용 의무 ,해외 축산물 반입 금지 ,진입로·축사 소독 ,노후 방역시설 보강 등이다. 도내 24개소 가축방역상황실을 24시간 운영하며 농가 지원도 강화한다.

According to the province, three cases were confirmed in just ten days, starting at a breeding farm in Cheongso-myeon, Boryeong on the 2nd and 3rd, followed by a farm in Sunseong-myeon, Dangjin on the 11th, and a farm in Eunha-myeon, Hongseong on the 12th. The situation is heightened as the outbreak, previously concentrated in wild boars, has expanded to include sporadic cases in piglets.
Notably, virus analysis at the recently confirmed farm confirmed a genotype imported from overseas, different from that found in domestic wild boars, raising concerns about the possibility of illegal livestock imports.
