충남도가 ‘딸기 메카’ 논산에 수출 전문 스마트팜 복합단지를 건립한다. 스마트농업 선도지로서의 위상을 강화하는 대형 프로젝트다.
13일 논산시 부적면 마구평리에서 열린 착공식에는 전형식 정무부지사와 청년농업인 등 300여 명이 참석했다. 총 145억5500만 원을 투입해 14.1㏊(4만3000평) 규모로 2028년 완공을 목표로 한다.
논산시는 국유지 매입 후 기반시설(용배수·도로·오폐수 처리)을 완비하고 부지를 무상 제공한다. 청년농은 보조·융자금과 자부담으로 온실을 설치하는 구조다.
1단계(7.4㏊)는 15개 구획(각 3300~4950㎡)으로 나뉘어 상반기 완공 예정. 이미 12명 청년농 선발을 마쳤으며, 다음 달 3명을 추가 모집한다. 2단계(6.7㏊)는 9개 구획으로 청년농 8명과 앵커기업 1곳을 하반기 유치, 내년 상반기 완공한다. 총 청년농 23명이 안정적 경영 기반을 마련한다.
충남도는 이 단지를 K-베리 수출 기지로 육성, 선진 재배기술과 스마트팜을 결합해 해외 시장을 공략할 방침이다. 착공식에서는 감사패 수여와 현장 시찰이 이어졌다.
