[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 제38회 아라가야문화제가 9월 18일부터 20일까지 개최일정이 확정됐다.
함안군은 지난 12일 군청 별관 중회의실에서 2026년 제1차 아라가야문화제위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의에는 위원 19명이 참석한 가운데 △제38회 아라가야문화제 일정 확정(안) △주요행사 계획 및 예산(안) △아라가야문화제 발전 방안 등에 대해 논의했다.
위원회는 제1호 안건인 개최 일정 확정(안)을 원안 가결하고, 제38회 아라가야문화제를 2026년 9월 18일부터 20일까지 3일간 개최하기로 확정했다.
또한 제2호 안건인 주요 행사계획 및 예산(안)도 원안 가결했다. 올해 문화제는 △공식행사 3개 △대표 프로그램 5개 △박물관 프로그램 11개 △아라가야 체험장 프로그램 5개 △말이산고분군 프로그램 11개 등으로 구성해 추진할 계획이다.
다만, 행사가 9월에 개최되는 만큼 세부 프로그램은 향후 준비 과정과 여건에 따라 일부 조정될 수 있다.
조근제 함안군수는 “아라가야문화제는 말이산고분군 세계유산 등재 이후 함안의 역사적 가치를 널리 알리는 대표 역사문화 축제다”며 “그동안 축적된 성과를 바탕으로 완성도를 더욱 높여 한 단계 도약하는 문화제로 준비하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 함안군은 올해 축제를 말이산고분군과 함안박물관을 중심으로 한 순수 역사문화 축제로 한층 더 고도화하고, 세계유산의 가치를 전국적으로 확산시키는 모델로 발전시켜 나갈 방침이다.
