더불어민주당 대전광역시당이 행정통합 안건을 재의결하려는 대전시의회의 움직임을 ‘기만적인 자기 부정 쇼’이자 ‘정치 코미디’라고 강력히 규탄하며 나섰다.
민주당 대전시당은 19일 논평을 통해 대전시의회가 불과 7개월 전 만장일치로 통과시켰던 ‘행정통합’ 안건을 스스로 뒤집기 위해 ‘원 포인트 임시회’라는 요식행위를 벌이고 있다고 비판했다.
대전시당은 이를 두고 “지방자치의 근간을 흔드는 폭거이자 의회 스스로의 존재 가치를 부정하는 자해 행위”라고 정의했다.
이날 논평에서 대전시당은 시의회 측이 내세운 ‘국회 통과 법안의 내용 변경에 따른 재의결 필요성’이라는 명분에 대해 조목조목 반박했다.
