작년과 올해 역시 우리는 신상품을 기부받아,
그 상품의 가격과 상관없이 모두 2유로에 판매한다.
이를 통해 구매자들에게 중고나 사용하던 물건이 아닌,
새 상품을 합리적인 가격에 구매하는 기쁨을 전하고자 한다.
이는 단순한 기부가 아니라,
물건을 산다는 즐거운 경험이 되기를 바라는 마음에서이다.
약 3시간 동안 진행될
이 바자회의 모든 판매 수익금은 전액 기부될 예정이다.
특히 한 곳에 집중하던 기존의 기부 방식을 벗어나,
여러 어려움을 겪고 있는 단체와 교회들에 나누어 전달할 계획이다.
신상품을 기부받는 일은 결코 쉽지 않다.
특히 생업으로 장사를 하는 이들에게는 진정한 나눔의 마음이 없이는
쉽지 않은 결정이기 때문이다. 오늘도 작년과 마찬가지로,
한 숍의 오너가 무거운 박스를 직접 집까지 들어다 주었다.
그는 세인트 줄리안스에서 여러 숍을 운영하는 사람으로,
언제나 선한 기운이 느껴지는 분이다.
이러한 따뜻한 마음에 깊이 감사드리며,
그 마음이 더욱 아름다운 기부금으로 이어질 수 있도록 소중히 전달할 것이다.
Last year and again this year,
we have been receiving donations of brand-new items and selling all of them
for a fixed price of 2 euros, regardless of their original value.
Through this, we hope to offer buyers the joy of purchasing something new—
not secondhand or used goods—
so that the experience feels like shopping rather than simply making a donation.
The bazaar will run for approximately three hours,
and all proceeds from sales will be donated in full.
This year in particular, instead of concentrating our donations in one place,
we plan to distribute them among several organizations and churches that are facing difficulties.
Receiving donations of new products is never easy.
Especially for those who run businesses,
such generosity requires genuine willingness rather than obligation.
Today, just as last year, a shop owner personally carried heavy boxes
all the way to my home. He operates several shops in
St. Julian’s is someone from whom one can always sense a spirit of kindness and goodwill.
With heartfelt gratitude, we will ensure that this generosity is transformed
into an even more meaningful and beautiful donation.
昨年に続き、今年も私たちは新品の商品をご寄付いただき、
価格に関わらずすべて一律2ユーロで販売します。
中古品や使用済みの品ではなく、
新品を購入する喜びを感じていただき、
単なる寄付ではなく「買う楽しさ」を届けたいと願っています。

困難な状況にある複数の団体や教会へ分けてお届けする計画です。

特に商売をされている方にとっては、
真心のこもった思いがなければできない行為です。
今日も昨年と同じように、あるショップのオーナーが重い箱を
自ら家まで運んでくださいました。
彼はセント・ジュリアンズで複数のショップを経営しており、
いつも温かく善意に満ちた雰囲気を感じさせてくれる方です。
このようなご厚意に心から感謝し、
その思いがより美しい形の寄付として実を結ぶよう、
大切にお届けしたいと思います。
