브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 엔씨소프트의 타임 서바이벌 슈터 ‘타임 테이커즈(TIME TAKERS)’가 1차 CBT(Closed Beta Test)를 진행한다.
엔씨는 20일 타임 테이커즈 신규 영상을 통해 CBT 일정을 안내했다. 이번 CBT는 내달 13일부터 21일까지(현지 시간 기준) 북·남미의 8개 국가(미국, 캐나다, 브라질, 아르헨티나, 멕시코, 칠레, 콜롬비아, 페루)를 대상으로 열린다. 북·남미 지역에서 슈터 장르의 영향력과 시장 점유율을 고려해 1차 CBT 지역을 설정했다.
이용자는 글로벌 PC 게임 유통 플랫폼 ‘스팀(Steam)’을 통해 CBT에 참여할 수 있다. 집중적인 매칭을 위해 매일 8시간씩 진행된다.
타임 테이커즈 공식 디스코드 채널을 통해 CBT Key를 발급받으면 북·남미 이외 지역에서도 테스트 참여가 가능하다. 엔씨는 테스트를 통해 글로벌 운영 방안 및 서버 안정성을 점검하고, 이용자 피드백을 확인 후 개발에 반영할 예정이다.
테스트에 참여하는 이용자는 3인 1팀으로 진행되는 ‘트리오 모드’를 플레이한다. 게임 플레이를 통해 △미래시, 요코가와, 모르슈타트 등 각기 다른 콘셉트의 맵 △타임 테이커즈의 세계관과 메인 스토리 △12종의 ‘여행자(캐릭터)’와 10종의 주무기 등을 확인할 수 있다.
한편, 타임 테이커즈는 타임 서바이벌 슈터 장르 신작으로 ‘타임 에너지’를 자원으로 활용하는 독특한 룰, 각기 다른 서사와 고유 스킬을 가진 다양한 캐릭터 △여러 무기와 게임 내에서 지속 효과를 부여하는 ‘패시브 앱’의 조합을 통한 다채로운 플레이 스타일 등이 특징이다.
