정준영 계룡시체육회장이 20일 오전 더불어민주당 계룡시장 예비후보로 공식 등록을 마치고 제9회 전국동시지방선거를 향한 본격적인 행보에 나섰다.
정 예비후보는 출마의 일성으로 ‘시민과 함께하는 열린 시정’을 강조하며 계룡의 비약적인 성장을 약속했다.
정 예비후보는 후보 등록 직후 “그동안 시민 여러분이 보내주신 응원과 격려 덕분에 이 자리에 설 수 있었다”며 “무거운 책임감으로 시민의 선택에 보답하고, 결과로 평가받는 시장이 되겠다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
정 예비후보는 체육회 운영과 지역 현장에서 쌓아온 갈등 해결 능력 및 행정 경험을 자신의 최대 강점으로 내세웠다. 그는 “현장에서 예산과 인사 문제를 직접 다루고, 다양한 이해관계자를 설득하며 쌓은 신뢰를 이제 계룡의 미래를 위해 쓰겠다”며 강한 자신감을 보였다.
