김안태 전 박정현 국회의원 선임비서관이 20일 대덕구선거관리위원회를 방문해 예비후보 등록을 마치고 제9회 전국동시지방선거 대덕구청장 선거를 향한 본격적인 대장정에 돌입했다.
김 예비후보는 등록 직후 발표한 입장문을 통해 “대전·충남 통합이라는 거대한 시대적 전환기 속에서 대덕을 변두리가 아닌 새로운 성장의 핵심 거점도시로 만들겠다”는 포부를 밝혔다.
김 예비후보는 최근 화두가 되고 있는 행정통합에 대해 명확한 시각을 제시했다. 그는 “지금 대덕에 필요한 것은 선택이 아니라 실행”이라며, “통합은 단순한 구호가 아니라 예산과 권한, 조직이 실제로 움직이는 복잡한 과정”이라고 진단했다.

김 예비후보는 예비후보 등록 후 첫 행보로 ‘12동 12행’ 현장 방문을 선언했다. 대덕구 관내 12개 동을 순차적으로 돌며 구민들에게 출마 보고를 올리고, 지역 현안을 청취해 즉시 실행 가능한 과제를 정리하겠다는 계획이다.
특히 대덕구의 특수성을 고려한 ‘권역별 맞춤 전략’과 통합 이후를 대비한 ‘6+1 실행전략’을 언급하며, “주거, 산업, 농촌이 공존하는 대덕구의 특색을 살려 구민들이 변화를 체감하는 시간을 앞당기겠다”고 약속했다.
