독립기념관이 2026년 6월과 7월, 재외동포 가족을 위한 특별 교육 프로그램 ‘Do you know Korea and Dokdo?’ 캠프를 개최하며 참가자를 선착순 모집한다.
이번 캠프는 방학 기간 모국을 방문하는 재외동포 가족들에게 독도의 역사와 가치, 그리고 독립운동의 의미를 깊이 있게 체험할 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
캠프는 1박 2일 일정으로 두 차례 운영되며, 첫 번째는 6월 23일부터 24일까지, 두 번째는 6월 30일부터 7월 1일까지 진행된다.
첫날 참가자들은 독립기념관 내 주요 전시관과 야외 전시물을 탐방하며 대한민국 근대사와 독립운동에 대한 이해를 넓힌다. 이튿날에는 독도의 역사와 자연을 배우고, 독도 입체지도 만들기, 독도 사랑 엽서 쓰기 등 다양한 체험 활동에 참여한다.
참가 신청은 2월 25일부터 시작되며, 가족당 최대 4명까지 신청 가능하다. 각 회차별로 40명의 인원을 모집한다.
