함양군 마천면 산불 발생...대응 1단계 발령

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 지난 21일 오후 9시 14분께 함양군 마천면 창원리 한 야산에서 산불이 발생했다.

경남도는 산불 발생 즉시 차량 27대·인력 209명을 현장에 투입해 야간 진화 작업을 벌였으며, 22일 오전 4시 확산대응 1단계를 발령했다.

이어 일출과 동시에 헬기 19대(경남도 7·산림청 9·소방 3)를 추가 동원해 소방 등 유관기관과 협업·총력 대응 중이다.

앞서 함양군은 이날 오후 9시 56분께 안내문자를 통해 "마천~용유담 인근 산불 발생, 산불로 인한 피해가 발생하지 않도록 유의 바란다"고 전했다.

기상청 예보에 따르면 오전 10시 이후 남서풍 평균 4~5m/s(순간최대풍속 10~20m/s)의 강풍이 예상됨에 따라, 가용자원을 총동원해 10시 이전까지 주불 진화 및 확산 방지에 집중하고 있다.

도는 건조한 기상과 강풍으로 산불 발생이 증가하는 가운데 진화인력 안전사고 예방을 위해 진화장비 사전점검, 현장 안전관리체계 확립 등을 통해 인명안전을 최우선으로 대응할 방침이다.
