이번 사업은 중소벤처기업부 지원으로 추진되는 사후관리 프로그램으로, 스마트공장 구축 이후 운영 단계에서 발생하는 각종 애로사항을 해소하고 현장 활용도를 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 단순 유지보수를 넘어 공정 개선과 시스템 고도화를 병행 지원함으로써 실질적인 제조 혁신 성과 창출을 유도한다는 방침이다.
지원 내용은 스마트공장 운영 중 발생하는 하드웨어(HW)·소프트웨어(SW) 고장 및 결함에 대한 신속한 A/S를 비롯해 ▲생산품목 변경 ▲공정 개선 ▲생산성 향상 ▲보안 강화 등 대내외 환경 변화에 대응하기 위한 시스템 보완 및 고도화까지 포함한다.
신청 대상은 △중소벤처기업부 스마트공장 보급·확산사업 완료 기업 △2023년 이후 지자체 스마트공장(기초) 사업 완료 기업 △자체 구축 후 스마트공장 수준확인서를 보유한 중소·중견 제조기업이다.
지원 규모는 총 사업비의 50% 이내에서 최대 1,900만 원까지다. 접수 기간은 2025년 2월 6일부터 3월 31일 오후 5시까지이며, 신청 방법과 세부 내용은 포항TP 홈페이지 사업공고를 통해 확인할 수 있다.
포항TP는 중소벤처기업부 스마트공장 보급·확산사업과 경북형 스마트공장 구축지원사업의 포항지역 운영기관으로, 2019년 이후 지역 중소·중견 제조기업 100여 개사의 스마트공장 구축을 지원해왔다. 최근에는 AI 기반 공정 개선과 데이터 중심 제조혁신 확산에 정책 역량을 집중하며 지역 제조산업의 디지털 전환을 견인하고 있다.

This project, a post-management program supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, focuses on resolving various difficulties that arise during the operation phase after smart factory construction and enhancing on-site utilization. Beyond simple maintenance, the park aims to support process improvement and system advancement, thereby driving tangible manufacturing innovation outcomes.
Support includes prompt after-sales service for hardware (HW) and software (SW) failures and defects that occur during smart factory operation, as well as system enhancements and advancements to address internal and external environmental changes, such as product changes, process improvements, productivity enhancements, and enhanced security.
Applicants must be: △Companies that have completed the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Smart Factory Distribution and Expansion Project; △Companies that have completed a local government smart factory (basic) project after 2023; and △SMEs and medium-sized manufacturers that have completed their own smart factory development and hold a smart factory level certification.
The amount of support is up to 50% of the total project cost, with a maximum of 19 million won. The application period is from February 6, 2025, to 5:00 PM on March 31, 2025. Application methods and details can be found on the Pohang TP website's project announcement.
