【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자=경상북도인재개발원(원장 우광진)이 신청사 이전을 계기로 지역사회와 상생하는 공공 교육기관으로서의 역할을 강화하기 위해 오는 23일부터 도서실을 지역 주민들에게 전면 개방한다.

이번 조치는 인재개발원이 추진 중인 ‘지역사회 동행 프로젝트’의 일환이다. 그동안 교육생과 직원 위주로 운영되던 도서실을 개방해 소장 도서의 활용도를 높이고, 공공서비스 기능을 지역사회로 확대하기 위해 마련됐다.
경북도민이면 누구나… 최대 30일간 대출 가능
도서실 이용 대상은 경북에 거주하는 주민이라면 누구든 가능하다. 이용 시간은 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 5시 30분까지이며 점심 시간은 제외된다. 대출은 1인당 최대 5권이며 30일까지 대출이 가능하다.
대출을 위해서는 신분증 지참 후 인재개발원 3층 도서실을 방문하면 되고, 회원가입 신청서를 작성하면 된다. 인재개발원은 이용자 편의를 위해 우선 1층에 도서 반납함을 설치했다. 향후 에는 복합기 설치 등 편의시설을 순차적으로 확충할 계획이다.
도서실뿐만 아니라 청사 내 시설도 일반에 개방할 방침이다. 강의실 및 분임토의실 등 주요 시설에 대해 대관 신청을 받아 공익 목적의 행사나 교육 시 도민들이 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 지원한다.
우광진 경상북도인재개발원장은 “이번 도서실 개방은 단순한 공간 제공을 넘어, 인재개발원이 지식과 자원을 공유하는 열린 공공교육 플랫폼으로 전환하는 첫걸음”이라며 “지역주민 누구나 부담 없이 찾아와 배움을 이어갈 수 있는 공간을 제공함으로써 교육기관과 지역사회가 함께 성장하는 선순환 구조를 만들고 앞으로도 다양한 교육·문화 자원을 단계적으로 개방해 공공기관으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Human Resources Development Institute (Director Woo Kwang-jin) will open its library to local residents starting February 23rd to strengthen its role as a public educational institution that thrives on the local community, following its move to a new building.
This measure is part of the Institute's “Community Engagement Project.” By opening the library, which had previously been primarily used by trainees and staff, the institute aims to increase the utilization of its collection and expand its public service function to the local community.
Any Gyeongsangbuk-do resident can borrow for up to 30 days.
The library is open to all residents of Gyeongsangbuk-do. Hours are weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding lunch hours. Each person can borrow up to five books for up to 30 days.
To borrow books, please visit the library on the third floor of the Human Resources Development Center with your ID and fill out a membership application. For user convenience, the Human Resources Development Center has installed a book return box on the first floor. Going forward, it plans to gradually expand amenities, including installing a copier.

We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as a public institution by gradually opening up various educational and cultural resources."
