이재명 대통령이 23일 “저와 룰라 대통령은 양국 간 호혜적 경제협력을 보다 확대해야 한다는 점에 공감했으며 브라질은 남미 공동시장 주요 일원”이라고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대에서 루이스 이나시우 룰라 다 시우바 브라질 대통령과의 정상회담 후 공동 언론발표에서 “저는 한·남미 공동시장 간 무역협정 체결을 위한 협상을 조속 재개할 필요가 있다는 점을 설명해 드렸고 룰라 대통령께서도 무역협정 체결이 긴요 과제란 점에 깊이 공감했다”고 했다.
