전북 전주 예수병원이 복막투석 환자의 안전한 재택 관리를 유도한다.
예수병원은 보건복지부 주관으로 시행하고 있는 '복막투석 환자 재택 관리 시범 사업'의 참여 기관으로 최종 선정됐다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 선정으로 예수병원은 전북대병원에 이어 두 번째로 도내 민간 종합병원 중 최초로 선정돼 말기신부전 환자들에게 보다 유연하고 질 높은 의료 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 발판을 마련했다.
2019년 12월 시작된 '복막투석 환자 재택 관리 시범 사업'은 집에서 스스로 복막투석을 시행하는 환자들이 안전하고 체계적으로 질환을 관리할 수 있도록 돕는 제도다.
말기 콩팥병 환자의 신대체요법 중 하나인 '복막투석'은 주 3회 병원을 방문해야 하는 혈액투석과 달리, 환자가 집이나 직장 등에서 스스로 시행하며 한 달에 한 번 정도만 병원에 내원하면 된다.
