의왕시, 행안부 ‘지방자치단체 혁신 평가’ 4년 연속 우수기관 선정

의왕시(시장 김성제)가 행정안전부 주관 ‘지방자치단체 혁신 평가’에서 4년 연속 우수기관으로 선정되며 혁신 행정의 역량을 다시 한번 입증했다.

행정안전부는 전국 지자체를 대상으로 자율적인 혁신 역량과 주민 체감 성과를 측정하기 위해 매년 평가를 시행하고 있다. 이번 2025년 평가는 △기관 혁신 역량 △혁신 성과 △자율지표 등 3개 영역, 10개 세부 지표를 중심으로 진행됐다.

의왕시는 대부분의 지표에서 고르게 높은 점수를 획득했다. 특히 △기관장의 혁신 리더십 △혁신 성과 확산 노력 △주민 소통 및 참여 강화 △민관 협력 활성화 △AI·디지털 기술 활용 서비스 향상 △행정 효율화 및 조직 문화 개선 등 6개 주요 항목에서 최고 등급인 ‘우수’를 받았다.

구체적인 혁신 사례로는 ‘화물자동차 밤샘 주차 허용 구간 지정’이 꼽혔다. 해당 사례는 고질적인 시민 불편을 해소하고 교통 안전을 확보한 적극 행정의 결과물로 평가단으로부터 높은 점수를 받았다.

Uiwang City (Mayor Kim Seong-je) has once again demonstrated its innovative administrative capabilities by being selected as an Outstanding Institution for four consecutive years in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "Local Government Innovation Evaluation."

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducts annual evaluations of local governments nationwide to measure their autonomous innovation capabilities and the outcomes perceived by residents.
