청와대가 26일 '동족 범주에서 한국을 영원히 배제할 것"이란 김정은 북한 국무위원장 발언 관련해 "남·북이 서로 적대적 대결·언행을 삼가고 상호 존중·신뢰의 토대 만들어 나가야 한다"고 밝혔다.
청와대는 이날 오후 언론 공지에서 "정부는 남·북이 평화롭게 공존하고 함께 번영하는 상생 미래를 열어가기 위해 계속 노력할 것"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
조선중앙통신에 따르면 앞서 지난 20, 21일 열린 9차 노동당 대회 사업총화 보고에서 김 위원장은 "가장 적대적 실체 대한민국과 상론할 일이 전혀 없다"며 '적대적 두 국가'로 남북 관계를 규정한 기존 노선을 재확인한 바 있다.
또 이재명 정부 대북 유화책 관련해선 "한국 현 집권 정권이 겉으로 표방하는 유화적 태도는 서투른 기만극이고 졸작"이라며 "겉으론 기만적 화해·평화를 제창하며 조선 반도 비핵화 간판 밑에 우리 무장해제를 획책하는 위해로운 존재를 같은 민족이란 타성에 포로돼 절대 불가능한 화해·통일을 이유로 계속 상대하는 건 더 이상 존속시키지 말아야 할 착오적 관행"이라고 비판한 바 있다.
