이재명 대통령이 26일 공직자들의 불법 시설 유착·은폐 의혹 논란 관련해 "마지막 한 번의 기회를 놓치지 말고 국민·국가에 본연 책무를 다해 달라"고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 '불법 시설 업주들과 유착해 은폐하고 허위 보고·직무 유기로 불법계곡시설 정비란 국가 행정을 방해한 공직자 여러분'을 통해 "행정안전부를 통해 재조사·재보고 기회를 줬다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "이 기회를 놓치면 지역 주민 고용 조사·신고포상금 등 모든 수단을 동원한 전수조사와 그에 따른 징계·직무 유기·허위 공문서 작성·공무집행 방해 등으로 수사·처벌을 받게 된다"고 했다.
이 대통령은 앞서 지난 24일 청와대 제6회 국무회의에서 윤호중 행안부 장관으로부터 "전국 실태조사에서 835건의 전국 불법 점용 행위가 조사됐다"며 "평상 그늘막이 218건으로 가장 많았고 이어 가설 건축물·불법 경작 순으로 확인됐다"고 보고받은 바 있다.
