[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시가 글로벌 경기 침체와 지정학적 리스크라는 파고를 넘고 역대급 성적표를 받아들었다. 생산액 60조 원 돌파와 수출 시장의 지각변동을 통해 ‘K-제조업의 심장’임을 다시 한번 증명했다.
창원시가 26일, 발표한 통계에 따르면, 창원국가산단의 지난해 생산액은 60조 9,643억 원을 기록했다. 이는 산단 역사상 최저점(39조 원)을 기록했던 2019년과 비교하면 불과 4~5년 만에 수직 상승한 수치다.
입주업체 수는 3,292개사로 1974년 산단 조성 이래 역대 최대치를 경신했다. 고용 인원 또한 11만 9,947명으로 전국 국가산단 중 2위를 차지하며 지역 경제의 든든한 버팀목 역할을 하고 있다.
그동안 수출 비중이 가장 높았던 미국이 제자리걸음을 한 반면 K-방산의 큰손 폴란드 수출이 대폭 확대됐다. 한화에어로스페이스의 K9자주포와 현대로템의 K2전차 등이 본격적으로 인도되면서 폴란드 수출액은 35억 2,925만 달러를 기록해 미국(71억 9,879만 달러)에 이은 2위를 차지했다. 그동안 두 번째로 큰 수출국이었던 중국에는 16억 6,146만 달러 수출을 기록했다.
