이재명 대통령이 1일(현지시간) 이란 사태 관련해 "국제 정세가 불안하나 국민 여러분은 전혀 걱정하지 않아도 된다"고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 3박 4일 간의 동남아 2개국 순방 첫 기착지인 싱가포르에 도착 후 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "실물 경제·금융·군사 안보 등 모든 분야에서 김민석 국무총리 포함 내각이 철저히 대비하고 있다"며 "대통령실 또한 강훈식 비서실장 이하 모든 비서관들이 비상 체제를 유지하며 만약 있을 수도 있는 모든 가능성에 대비하고 있다"고 했다.
또 "내란조차 이겨낸 대한국민이다. 이제 그 위대한 대한국민들이 만든 국민주권정부가 있다"며 "국민 여러분은 안심하고 일상을 즐기며 생업에 더욱 힘써 주기 바란다"고 덧붙였다.
이 대통령은 2일(현지시간) 로런스 웡 싱가포르 총리와 정상회담 후 타르만 샨무가라트 대통령 면담·국빈 만찬 등 일정을 소화한다.
