[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시가 지역 중소기업의 자금난 해소와 성장 잠재력 있는 기업 육성을 위해 5천억 원 규모의 금융지원을 본격화한다.
부산시는 3일 오전 시청 국제의전실에서 「부산·영남권 거점기업 육성 지원」을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 협약에는 박형준 부산시장, 양재생 부산상공회의소 회장, 이상창 기술보증기금 상임이사, 채병호 신용보증기금 상임이사, 이호성 하나은행장이, 또 기업대표로는 신정택 세운철강㈜ 회장, 최금식 SB선보㈜ 회장 등이 참석했다.
이번 협약은 지역 유망 중소기업을 체계적으로 지원해 부산·영남권을 대표하는 거점기업으로 육성하기 위한 것이다. 시와 부산상의, 기술보증기금, 신용보증기금, 하나은행은 협력체계를 구축하고 총 5천억 원 규모의 중소기업 정책자금을 조성한다.
시는 기업당 최대 30억 원, 이차보전율 2.0%를 지원하며, 지난해 1.5%였던 이차보전율을 상향해 기업 부담을 완화했다. 상환 조건은 기업 상황에 맞춰 3년 만기 2년 거치 1년 분할상환 또는 3년 거치 후 일시상환 방식 중 선택할 수 있도록 했다.

부산상공회의소는 회원사 대상 금융지원 사업 홍보와 대상기업 추천을, 기술보증기금과 신용보증기금은 출연금을 통한 보증을 제공한다. 하나은행은 특별출연과 우대금리를 적용해 금융문턱을 낮출 예정이다.
박형준 시장은 “부산경제의 성장 흐름이 지역 중소기업 현장까지 확산될 수 있도록 금융지원을 강화하겠다”며 “기업이 안심하고 투자·성장할 수 있는 도시 환경을 조성해 부산이 영남권 경제의 중심도시로 자리 잡도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

Busan City is moving forward with a 500 billion-won financial support program to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome funding challenges and nurture companies with strong growth potential.
On March 3, the Busan Metropolitan Government signed a business agreement at City Hall’s International Protocol Room to promote the “Busan–Yeongnam Strategic Enterprise Support Initiative.”
The signing ceremony was attended by Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun; Yang Jae-saeng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Lee Sang-chang, Executive Director of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation; Chae Byung-ho, Executive Director of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund; and Lee Ho-sung, President and CEO of Hana Bank. Business representatives including Shin Jung-taek, Chairman of Sewoon Steel Co., Ltd., and Choi Geum-sik, Chairman of SB SUNBO Co., Ltd., also joined the event.
Through this agreement, Busan City, the Busan Chamber of Commerce, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, and Hana Bank will form a cooperative network to provide financial support for promising regional companies. A total of 500 billion won in policy funds will be made available.
Under the program, each company can receive up to 3 billion won in funding, with the city offering a 2.0 percent interest subsidy—an increase from last year’s 1.5 percent. Repayment terms have been designed with business flexibility in mind, allowing companies to choose between a three-year maturity with a two-year grace period and one-year installments, or a three-year maturity with a lump-sum repayment after three years.
The Busan Chamber of Commerce will promote the financial support program to member companies and recommend eligible firms, while the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and Korea Credit Guarantee Fund will provide guarantees based on contributed funds. Hana Bank will offer special contribution and preferential interest rates to enhance accessibility.
Mayor Park stated, “Busan’s economy has maintained a strong growth momentum, with SMEs achieving record exports of 8.44 billion dollars last year. We will expand financial support to ensure that this growth reaches business sites across the region. Our goal is to create an environment where companies can invest and grow with confidence, making Busan the central economic hub of the Yeongnam region.”
