고양특례시가 시민과 관광객들에게 특별한 밤의 정취를 선사한다.
고양시는 오는 3월 14일부터 10월까지 행주산성을 야간 개장한다고 3일 밝혔다.
이번 야간 개장은 매주 2·4째 주 토요일마다 정기적으로 운영되며, 오후 6시부터 밤 10시까지(입장 마감 오후 9시) 무료로 개방된다.

낮과는 또 다른 분위기 속에서 은은한 조명과 함께 역사 유적지를 거닐며 한강의 야경을 감상할 수 있어 시민들의 큰 호응이 기대된다.
행주산성은 임진왜란 3대 대첩 가운데 하나인 ‘행주대첩’의 승전지로 잘 알려진 곳이다.
권율 장군이 왜군을 물리친 역사적 현장으로, 호국 정신이 깃든 유서 깊은 장소다.
덕양산을 따라 약 1km 길이로 이어진 퇴뫼식 토성은 완만한 산책 코스로도 적합해 가족 단위 방문객은 물론 연인과 친구들의 나들이 장소로도 인기가 높다.
야간 관람은 대첩문에서 시작된다.
산성의 정문인 대첩문을 지나면 권율 장군 동상과 충장사가 자리해 선조들의 넋을 기릴 수 있다.

특히 이번 야간 개장 시간에는 관람료가 전면 무료다.
주차 또한 오후 6시 이후 야간 개장을 위해 입장하는 차량에 한해 무료로 제공된다.

다만 장맛비나 태풍 등 기상 악화 시에는 안전을 위해 야간 개장이 취소될 수 있다.
