대전시민들의 자발적인 문화 활동을 지원하고 지역 공동체의 활력을 높이기 위한 '2026년 생활문화지원사업'의 청사진이 나왔다.
대전문화재단은 올해 총 169개 단체를 선정해 3억 8천만 원 규모의 예산을 투입한다고 밝혔다.
이번 지원사업은 시민이 주도하는 자율적인 문화 활동 환경을 조성하고, 마을 단위의 문화적 결속력을 강화하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
재단이 발표한 심의 결과에 따르면, 지원 대상은 크게 두 축으로 나뉜다. 우선 시민들의 다양한 취미와 예술 활동을 돕는 생활문화활성화지원 분야에 140개 단체가 선정되어 총 1억 7,500만 원을 지원받는다.
또한 대전의 대표적인 공동체 문화로 자리 잡은 대전마을합창단지원 분야에는 29개 단체가 이름을 올렸으며, 총 2억 400만 원의 사업비가 배정됐다.
재단은 이번 지원을 통해 단순한 동호회 활동을 넘어, 지역 사회 곳곳에서 시민들이 문화를 향유하고 직접 생산하는 선순환 구조가 정착될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
선정된 단체들을 위한 후속 조치도 발 빠르게 진행된다. 재단은 오는 3월 12일 대전예술가의집 다목적회의실에서 오후 3시와 7시, 총 2회에 걸쳐 사업 운영 설명회를 개최한다.
이번 설명회는 보조금 정산의 투명성을 높이고 운영의 어려움을 해소하기 위해 마련됐다. 참석자들은 보조금 집행 기준과 주의사항은 물론, 생활문화포털 시스템 사용법 등 실무적인 안내를 받게 된다. 직장인 등 다양한 시간대의 이용자를 고려해 2회로 나누어 진행하는 점이 특징이다.

The Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced that it will select a total of 169 organizations this year and allocate a budget of KRW 380 million.
This support project focuses on fostering an environment for autonomous, citizen-led cultural activities and strengthening cultural cohesion at the community level.
According to the review results announced by the foundation, the support is broadly divided into two categories.
