대전시교육청이 학교 디지털 인프라의 안정적 운영을 위해 ‘2026년 테크센터 운영 용역’ 사업을 본격 가동하며 현장 지원 강화에 나섰다.
테크센터는 학교의 무선 네트워크와 디지털 기기 관리 업무를 지원하는 사업으로, 2024년부터 꾸준히 추진돼 왔다. 그동안 학교별 네트워크 장애 대응과 기기 관리 업무를 담당하며 교직원의 정보화 업무 부담을 경감하는 데 기여해왔다.
최근에는 스마트칠판, 인공지능(AI) 소프트웨어, 스마트단말기 등 에듀테크 활용이 급속히 확산되면서 네트워크 사용량이 증가하고 장애 대응의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 이에 대전교육청은 올해 한층 업그레이드된 통합 기술 지원 체계를 구축해 현장 대응력을 높인다는 계획이다.
이번 사업은 신학기 개학과 함께 12월 31일까지 추진되며, 관내 초·중·고·특수·각종학교 315교를 대상으로 동부·서부 2개 테크센터가 운영된다.
조달청 제한경쟁입찰을 통해 선발된 전문 사업자가 사업을 수행하며, 테크매니저 등 전문가 30명이 투입돼 △무선망 점검 △장애 진단 및 신속 조치 △스마트 단말기 관리 등 학교 맞춤형 현장 지원을 제공한다.

Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education Strengthens Digital Maintenance in Schools
The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education has launched the "2026 Tech Center Operation Service" project to strengthen on-site support for the stable operation of school digital infrastructure.
The Tech Center, a project supporting wireless networks and digital device management at schools, has been in operation since 2024. It has been responsible for responding to network outages and managing devices at each school, contributing to reducing the burden of IT workload on faculty and staff.
Recently, the rapid expansion of edtech, including smart whiteboards, artificial intelligence (AI) software, and smart devices, has led to increased network usage and an increasing importance of fault response. Accordingly, the Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education plans to establish an upgraded integrated technology support system this year to enhance on-site response capabilities.
This project will run until December 31st, coinciding with the start of the new school year. Two Tech Centers, East and West, will be operated for 315 elementary, middle, high, special, and miscellaneous schools within the jurisdiction.
The project will be carried out by a professional contractor selected through the Public Procurement Service's limited competitive bidding process, and 30 experts, including tech managers, will be deployed to provide customized on-site support for schools, including wireless network inspection, fault diagnosis and rapid action, and smart terminal management.
