【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군 적성면 상2리 ‘어울림 풍물단’이 지난 3일 정월대보름을 맞아 관내 곳곳을 돌며 액운을 쫓고 면민의 안녕과 지역 발전을 기원하는 지신밟기 행사를 열었다.
이번 행사는 우리 고유의 세시풍속인 지신밟기를 통해 한 해의 무사 안녕과 풍요를 기원하고, 주민 화합의 장을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다.
풍물단원들은 꽹과리·장구·북·징 등 흥겨운 가락에 맞춰 힘찬 연주를 선보이며 지역 사회에 활력을 불어넣고 따뜻한 공동체 분위기를 조성했다.
상2리 어울림 풍물단은 2025년도 군 보조사업을 통해 결성된 이후 꾸준한 연습을 이어오며 실력을 다져왔다.
이날 단원들은 적성면사무소를 비롯해 농협 적성지점, 우체국 등을 방문해 지신밟기 공연을 펼치며 만복을 기원했다.
노경래 단장은 “2026년 한 해 희망은 배로 키우고 근심은 덜어내는 뜻깊은 자리를 마련할 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 지역을 대표하는 풍물단으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 전통문화 계승과 실력 향상에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 상2리 어울림 풍물단은 앞으로도 지역 행사와 각종 문화활동에 적극 참여해 전통문화 확산과 주민 화합에 기여할 계획이다.
