자원순환해설사는 시민들에게 올바른 재활용품 분리배출 방법을 안내하고 자원순환의 중요성을 알리는 환경교육 활동가로 공동주택 학교 행사장 등 다양한 현장에서 시민 대상 홍보 및 교육 활동을 추진한다.
올해 자원순환해설사는 생활 속 자원순환 실천 확산을 위해 생활폐기물 올바른 분리배출 안내, 투명페트병 별도 배출 홍보, 재활용품 분리배출 현장 계도, 찾아가는 분리배출 교육 및 홍보 활동 등을 중점 추진할 계획이다.
