[노병한의 관상·칼럼] 사주·팔자·운세·관상을 포함한 동양의 역학(易學)·명리학의 분야에서는 인생과 운명과 노력에 대한 통찰이 어우러져 오래전부터 짧으나 사주·명리(命理)에 관한 명구(名句)·명언(名言)들이 전해져 오는데 그중에서도 널리 인용되며 의미가 깊은 경우가 바로 ‘명유천정(命由天定)·운유기조(運由己造)·사재인위(事在人爲)’이다.
‘명유천정(命由天定)·운유기생(運由己生)’이라고 함은 명(命)은 하늘이 정하나 운(運)은 자신이 스스로 만드는 것이다. 세상의 작동원리로서 사재인위(事在人爲)라고 했음은 사람(人)의 자리가 중요함을 강조함이다. 얼굴·관상은 운(運)의 결과이면서 동시에 운(運)을 새롭게 다시 만드는 도구이기도 하다. 다시 말하면 ‘표정 하나·말투 하나·선택의 하나’가 미래에 진행될 운세 흐름의 씨앗이 되기 때문이다.
