에코프로는 오는 11일부터 13일까지 코엑스에서 열리는 이번 전시회에서 ‘Perfect Chain, Connected Value’를 주제로 4개 전시 존을 운영한다고 4일 밝혔다. 전기차를 넘어 휴머노이드 등 로봇 시대를 겨냥한 차별화 기술과 함께, 배터리 생애 주기 전반을 관리하는 신사업 비전도 제시한다는 계획이다.
‘Global Network’를 주제로 한 존1에서는 인도네시아 니켈 제련 사업과 헝가리 양극재 공장 등을 중심으로 구축한 글로벌 공급망 전략을 소개한다.
에코프로는 지난 4년간 약 8,000억 원을 투자해 니켈 제련 사업에 진출하며 원재료 내재화를 추진해 왔다. 특히 헝가리 양극재 공장 준공을 통해 유럽 역내 규제에 대응할 수 있는 생산 거점을 확보, 국내 배터리 소재 기업 가운데 차별화된 경쟁력을 갖췄다는 평가다.
향후 2단계 전략으로는 광산 개발 주도를 통한 ‘광물 주권’ 확보를 제시했다. 이를 위해 인도네시아 광산 회사 및 글로벌 금융기관과 협의를 진행 중이다.
존2 ‘Competitiveness Value’에서는 에코프로의 주력 제품인 하이니켈 양극재를 비롯해 미드니켈, 나트륨이온배터리(SIB)용 양극재, 리튬망간리치(LMR) 양극재 등 다양한 제품군을 선보인다.
에너지저장장치(ESS) 시장 대응을 위한 LFP 양극소재도 함께 공개해 고객 맞춤형 포트폴리오를 강조할 방침이다.
존3 ‘Future Innovation’에서는 휴머노이드 시대를 겨냥한 전고체 배터리 소재 기술과 개발 현황이 소개된다.
에코프로는 고체 전해질, 전고체용 양극재, 리튬메탈 음극재 등 전고체 배터리 소재 전반의 밸류체인을 구축하고 있다. 특히 2027년 양산을 목표로 고객사와 공동 개발 중인 고체 전해질 기술을 이번 전시를 통해 구체적으로 선보일 계획이다.
존4 ‘Beyond Battery’에서는 배터리 소재 기업을 넘어 배터리 생애주기 관리 기업으로의 전환 전략을 공개한다.
에코프로는 리사이클 기술을 기반으로 양극소재 생산부터 사용 후 배터리의 재사용·재활용까지 아우르는 통합 관리 체계를 구축해 새로운 부가가치를 창출한다는 구상이다.
아울러 미래 기술 및 신사업의 거점이 될 ‘오창 R&D 미래캠퍼스(가칭)’ 건설 로드맵도 공개할 예정이다.
에코프로 관계자는 “글로벌 최고 수준의 하이니켈 기술력을 기반으로 휴머노이드 시대를 대비한 전고체 소재까지 풀라인업을 선보였다”며 “높은 에너지 밀도와 출력을 구현하는 삼원계 배터리 기술을 더욱 고도화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 이번 전시회에는 에코프로비엠과 공동으로 잡페어 부스도 운영된다. 인사 담당자들이 구직자 대상 1대1 면담과 기업 설명, 채용 상담을 진행할 예정이다.

EcoPro will be participating in InterBattery 2026, Korea's largest battery exhibition, to unveil a comprehensive lineup of next-generation products, including high-nickel ternary cathode materials and all-solid-state battery materials.
EcoPro announced on the 4th that it will operate four exhibition zones under the theme "Perfect Chain, Connected Value" at the exhibition, which will be held at COEX from the 11th to the 13th. The exhibition will present differentiated technologies targeting the era of robots, including humanoids, beyond electric vehicles, as well as a new business vision for managing the entire battery life cycle.
Zone 1, themed "Global Network," will showcase its global supply chain strategy, centered around its nickel smelting operations in Indonesia and its cathode materials plant in Hungary.
EcoPro has invested approximately KRW 800 billion over the past four years to enter the nickel smelting business and promote raw material internalization. In particular, the completion of the Hungarian cathode material plant has secured a production base capable of responding to European regulations, demonstrating a differentiated competitive edge among domestic battery materials companies.
The company has proposed securing "mineral sovereignty" through leading mine development as its second-phase strategy. To achieve this, discussions are ongoing with Indonesian mining companies and global financial institutions.
Zone 2, "Competitiveness Value," will showcase EcoPro's diverse product lineup, including high-nickel cathodes, its flagship product, mid-nickel cathodes, cathodes for sodium-ion batteries (SIBs), and lithium manganese-rich (LMR) cathodes.
The company will also showcase LFP cathode materials for the energy storage system (ESS) market, emphasizing its customer-tailored portfolio.
Zone 3, "Future Innovation," will showcase the technology and development status of all-solid-state battery materials targeting the humanoid era.
EcoPro is building a comprehensive value chain for all-solid-state battery materials, including solid electrolytes, all-solid-state cathodes, and lithium metal anodes. In particular, the exhibition will showcase the solid electrolyte technology currently being jointly developed with a client, with the goal of mass production by 2027.
Zone 4, "Beyond Battery," will unveil its strategy to transition beyond a battery materials company into a battery lifecycle management company.
EcoPro plans to create new added value by establishing an integrated management system based on recycling technology, encompassing everything from cathode material production to the reuse and recycling of used batteries.
Furthermore, the exhibition will also unveil a roadmap for the construction of the "Ochang R&D Future Campus" (tentative name), which will serve as a hub for future technologies and new businesses.
An EcoPro representative stated, "Based on our world-class high-nickel technology, we have showcased a full lineup of all-solid-state materials for the humanoid era. We will further advance our ternary battery technology, which delivers high energy density and output."
The exhibition will also feature a job fair booth jointly operated with EcoPro BM. HR representatives will provide one-on-one interviews, company information, and recruitment consultations to job seekers.
