【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군기업인협회가 지역의 미래 산업을 이끌어갈 기술 인재 발굴과 육성을 위해 지역 내 특성화 고등학교와 협력 체계를 구축했다.
협회는 5일 퍼플랜드 회의실에서 증평공업고등학교, 충북비즈니스고등학교와 ‘지역 정주 미래 기술 인력 양성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 지역 기업과 특성화고 간 산학 협력 기반을 공고히 하고, 교육과 산업 현장을 유기적으로 연결하기 위해 추진됐다.
각 기관이 보유한 인적·물적 자원을 공유해 실무 역량을 갖춘 인재를 양성하고, 기업에는 현장 적응력이 높은 인력을 공급하는 선순환 구조를 마련한다는 구상이다.
단기 취업 지원을 넘어 졸업생이 지역 기업에 안착해 장기적으로 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련한다는 점도 이번 협약의 핵심이다.
청년 인재의 외부 유출을 줄이고 지역 내 정주 여건을 확충해 산업 생태계의 선순환을 이루겠다는 전략이다.
백선근 회장은 “지역 학생들의 잠재력이 지역 기업의 경쟁력으로 이어지는 구조를 만드는 것이 핵심”이라며 “현장실습 기회를 확대하고 기업 수요에 맞춘 맞춤형 교육 협력을 통해 학생들이 증평에서 꿈을 펼치고 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 2023년 출범한 증평군기업인협회는 당시 35개사였던 회원사를 현재 52개사로 확대하며 외연을 넓혀왔다. ‘지역과 함께 성장하는 기업 공동체’를 기치로 기업 간 협력은 물론 지역경제 체질 개선과 사회적 책임 실천에도 역할을 확대하고 있다.
