이재명 대통령이 오는 13일 충북에서 '충북의 마음을 듣다' 주제로 타운홀 미팅을 개최한다고 6일 전했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 "국민과 함께 지역 미래를 그려가는 타운홀 미팅, 그 열한 번째 만남은 대한민국 중심, 충북"이라며 이같이 적었다.
그러면서 "충북은 전국에서 유일하게 바다 없는 내륙도지만 지리적 특성을 장점으로 살려 사통팔달 교통망을 완성했다"며 "청주국제공항·오송역을 아우르는 탄탄한 인프라 위에 반도체·이차전지·바이오 등 첨단 산업이 뿌리내리며 충북은 대한민국 미래 먹거리를 책임질 핵심 거점으로 성장하고 있다"고 했다.
또 "이런 지역 발전 성과가 지표상에만 머물러선 안 된다"며 "첨단 산업 과실이 지역 경제 활력·도민 여러분의 삶의 질 향상으로 이어지는 선순환을 만들어야 할 때"라고 했다.
이어 "그 길을 찾는 데 있어 가장 중요한 건 도민 여러분 목소리"라며 "타운홀 미팅에 함께해 도민 여러분 경험·지혜를 들려달라"고 요청했다.
