대전시가 지역 대학과 연구기관, 기업 간의 협력 기반을 강화해 혁신산업 생태계를 확장하는 데 나선다. 시는 올해 ‘혁신성장기업 산학협력 지원사업’과 ‘공공기술 연계 기술고도화 지원사업’을 동시에 추진하며, 12억 원 규모의 예산을 투입한다고 6일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 대학 및 대덕연구개발특구가 보유한 연구 인프라와 공공기술을 지역 기업과 연계해 기술개발과 경쟁력 제고를 지원하는 것이 핵심이다. 시는 연구성과가 산업 현장으로 이어지는 구조를 확립해 ‘지속 가능한 지역 혁신 생태계’를 조성한다는 목표를 세웠다.
‘혁신성장기업 산학협력 지원사업’은 대학의 전문 연구진과 장비를 기업 공동연구에 활용해 기업의 기술 애로 해결과 신기술 개발을 돕는 프로그램이다. 반면 ‘공공기술 연계 기술고도화 지원사업’은 대덕특구 내 공공연구기관이 보유한 기술을 기업으로 이전하고, 이를 기반으로 한 후속 기술개발을 지원한다.
대전시는 이들 사업을 통해 산학연 간 협력 체계를 실질적으로 강화하고, 지역 기업의 혁신 성과가 산업성장으로 이어지는 선순환 구조를 정착시킨다는 계획이다.
