【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군 농촌활력과 귀농귀촌팀은 지난 5일부터 6일까지 2일간 강원특별자치도 횡성군, 인제군, 영월군을 방문해 선진 귀농·귀촌 정책 및 운영 사례를 벤치마킹했다고 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 지역 실정에 맞는 실효성 있는 귀농·귀촌 정책을 발굴하고, 정착 지원 시스템을 한층 고도화하기 위해 마련됐다.
최근 귀농·귀촌 수요가 다양화되고 있는 가운데, 선도 지자체의 우수 사례를 현장에서 확인하고 정책 추진 노하우를 공유함으로써 음성군만의 차별화된 지원 전략을 수립하기 위함이다.
특히 이번 벤치마킹을 통해 횡성군의 귀농귀촌 종합학교와 인제군의 워케이션 및 농촌생활 적응교육 운영, 영월군의 전입장려금 지원 등 각 지자체의 특화사업을 면밀하게 분석해 음성군 정책에 접목이 가능한 방안을 모색했다.
군 관계자는 “귀농·귀촌은 단순한 인구 유입을 넘어 지역에 활력을 불어넣는 핵심 정책”이라며 “이번 벤치마킹을 통해 현장의 생생한 운영 경험을 공유받고, 음성군 실정에 맞는 지속 가능한 정착 지원 모델을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 군은 귀농귀촌인 농가주택 수리비 지원, 청년 귀농인 농지 임대료 지원, 귀농인 멘토·멘티 지원 등을 통해 안정적인 농촌 정착 환경 조성에 힘쓰고 있다. 앞으로도 타 지자체와의 교류·협력을 확대해 농촌 활력 제고에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
