【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단이 운영하는 구수산도서관과 대현도서관이 문화체육관광부와 한국문화예술위원회가 주관하는 ‘인문정신문화 사회적 확산 공모사업’의 대표 프로그램인 길 위의 인문학 2026년 연속지원 대상 기관으로 선정됐다.
이번 선정은 두 도서관이 2025년 운영 성과와 프로그램 완성도, 시민 참여도에서 높은 평가를 받은 데 따른 것이다. 특히 사업 평가에서 상위 우수기관으로 평가되며 연속 지원 기회를 확보했다.
‘길 위의 인문학’은 강연과 탐방, 체험을 결합해 주민들이 일상 속에서 인문학을 접하고 지역 문화와 삶의 의미를 성찰하도록 돕는 프로그램이다.
구수산도서관은 지난해 글쓰기와 독서를 결합한 맞춤형 인문 프로그램을 운영해 참여자들의 꾸준한 호응을 얻었으며, 대현도서관은 지역 음식에 담긴 역사와 문화를 주제로 한 탐방·체험형 프로그램을 통해 지역 정체성을 재조명하는 기회를 제공했다.
전문가 현장 모니터링과 실적 평가에서도 두 도서관의 프로그램은 높은 점수를 받았다. 이에 따라 2026년에도 지역 특성을 반영한 다양한 인문학 프로그램이 연속 운영될 예정이다.
행복북구문화재단 관계자는 “연속지원 선정은 지역 주민들의 지속적인 관심과 참여가 만들어낸 결과”라며 “앞으로도 주민들이 삶 속에서 인문적 가치를 발견할 수 있도록 생활밀착형 인문 프로그램을 꾸준히 제공하겠다”고 말했다.

Gususan Library and Daehyun Library, operated by the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation, have been selected as recipients of 2026 continuous support for Humanities on the Road, a flagship program of the "Humanities Spirit and Culture Social Diffusion Contest" hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Council Korea.
This selection reflects the high evaluations the two libraries received in 2025 for their operational performance, program completion, and citizen participation. Notably, they secured continued support by being recognized as top-performing institutions in the program evaluation.
"Humanities on the Road" combines lectures, tours, and hands-on experiences to help residents engage with the humanities in their daily lives and reflect on local culture and the meaning of life.
Gususan Library operated a customized humanities program combining writing and reading last year, which received a consistent response from participants. Daehyun Library provided opportunities to re-examine local identity through tours and experiential programs that focused on the history and culture embedded in local cuisine.
Both libraries' programs also received high marks in expert on-site monitoring and performance evaluations. Accordingly, diverse humanities programs reflecting the region's unique characteristics will continue to operate in 2026.
An official from the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation stated, "The selection for continuous support is a result of the continued interest and participation of local residents. We will continue to provide life-centered humanities programs so that residents can discover the humanities values in their daily lives."
