안양시는 지난해 경기도 인구 50만 이상 대도시 가운데 출생아 수 증가율 1위를 기록했다고 6일 밝혔다.
국가데이터처가 발표한 국가통계포털(KOSIS) 잠정 통계에 따르면 2025년 안양시 출생아 수는 3,800명으로, 2024년(3,323명)보다 14.4%(477명) 늘어 도내 50만 이상 지자체 가운데 가장 높은 증가율을 보였다.
시는 ‘청년특별도시 안양’을 목표로 청년·주거·출산 정책을 꾸준히 추진해온 점을 주요 배경으로 보고 있다.
