가평군은 오는 4월 10일까지 붕괴, 낙석, 침하 등 해빙기 위험 요인을 사전 차단하기 위해 민관 합동으로 현장 중심의 밀착 점검을 강화한다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 점검 대상은 급경사지와 사면, 도로, 옹벽, 석축, 건설 현장, 저수지 등 총 391개소에 달한다. 각 담당 공무원과 민간 전문가로 구성된 점검반이 직접 현장을 누비며 균열, 구조물 변형, 배수 불량 등 잠재적 위험 요인을 집중적으로 파헤친다.
특히 군은 군민들이 생활 주변의 위험 시설을 직접 신고하면 점검반이 출동하는 '주민점검신청제'를 도입해 눈길을 끈다. 안전신문고나 행정복지센터를 통해 접수하면, 현장 확인 후 위험도 분석과 보수 방안까지 원스톱으로 안내받을 수 있다.
