<브레이크뉴스 가평 = 이용하 기자> 경기 가평군 청평면이 잊혀가는 전통문화를 되살리고 면민들의 끈끈한 정을 나누는 화합의 장을 성황리에 열었다.
가평군 청평면은 최근 청춘역 1979 야외무대에서 이장협의회(회장 손흥규) 주최·주관으로 ‘전통문화 계승 및 면민 화합을 위한 청평면 전통 민속놀이 경연대회’를 개최했다고 11일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 지역 주민은 물론 각 기관과 단체가 한자리에 모여 공동체의 유대감을 단단히 다지기 위해 마련됐다. 한국수력원자력㈜ 청평수력발전소의 든든한 후원이 더해져 더욱 풍성한 축제로 꾸며졌다.
흥겨운 식전 공연으로 문을 연 행사는 내빈 소개, 개회사, 기념촬영에 이어 본격적인 대회의 막을 올렸다. 특히 마을별 명예를 건 윷놀이 경연대회를 비롯해 떡메치기, 투호, 제기차기 등 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 전통 민속놀이 프로그램이 펼쳐져 행사장에 활기를 더했다.
또한, 현장에서는 직접 만든 인절미 체험과 따뜻한 떡국 나눔 등 먹거리 프로그램이 함께 운영되어, 가족 단위 방문객부터 어르신, 청년층까지 세대를 뛰어넘어 함께 웃고 정을 나누는 훈훈한 풍경이 연출됐다.
